Maywood Firefighters took to the cold streets  on April 8 dressed in full firefighting gear and holding boots adorned with dancers’ tu-tus to help raise money for Maywood Fine Arts, the venerable local arts nonprofit that is in the process of building a new state-of-the-art dance studio down the street from their main location on the corner of 5th and Lake St.

NBC 5 Chicago was on the scene to catch the firefighters in action and to talk to Ernie and Lois Baumann, MFA’s ageless founders. Click here to see the clip. VFP
