The Broadview Missionary Baptist Church (BMBC) is hosting a 5K Walk/Run and Health Fair on Saturday, Sept. 17 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., as part of our annual Family Week event.

The 2016 Family Week theme is, Now is the Time to Prosper: Encouraging Spiritual and Physical Family Health. Scripture reference comes from 3 John 1:1-2, “Beloved I wish above all things that thou mayest proper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

The 5k walk/run will take place in the village of Broadview and the Health Fair will be held in the Fellowship Hall of BMBC located at 2100 S. 25th Ave. Our goal is to provide participants with information about local services that support healthy living, good nutrition, and exercise.

We would also like to include information about opportunities for families to serve God through missions and outreach. Hospitals, YMCAs, local retailers, insurance providers, nutritionists, healthcare and sports and fitness professionals, are ALL WELCOME!

We invite you and your company/organization to participate in this important neighborhood event.
