  1. To Mayor Edwenna Perkins, Dr. Mary “May” Larry, and other candidates running for mayor of the Village of Maywood:

Q:) If elected as mayor of Maywood, what changes will you bring about reforming the police department? In the recent history, the police department in Maywood has had a long history of corruption, unsolved murders, distrust from the public, and etc. This year, reading the Village Free Press, I have read that Maywood had settle a lot of money from the victims’ that were victims of police brutality by the Maywood Police Department. How will you let the citizens of Maywood build trust in the police department?

  2. To Candidates Of Mayor Of Maywood:

Q:) If elected as mayor of Maywood, what will you bring to the table of economic developmental growth in investing in vacant lots, up and coming small businesses, and a grocery store? With the TIF (tax increment fiances), with all that money will go directly towards the things that I mentioned?
