A Legal, License and Ordinance Committee meeting of the Maywood Board of Trustees is scheduled to take place tonight, Wednesday, July 12, 7 p.m., at Council Chambers, 125 S. 5th Ave. in Maywood.

- A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF A COOK COUNTY JUSTICE ADVISORY COUNCIL CAPACITY BUILDING GRANT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2016-2017 in the amount of $10,000.00, from Klein, Thorpe and Jenkins, Ltd.
- Further discussion concerning dangerous or vicious dog regulations and Pitbull regulations in the Village of Maywood. Memorandum dated April 5, 2017 and its enclosures received from Klein, Thorpe and Jenkins, Ltd. for review and possible action. This agenda item was discussed at the Legal, License and Ordinance Committee
- Discussion and consideration concerning Maywood Police Department Proposal No. 16 to secure support from the Cook County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) to retrieve collected prescription drugs from Maywood and cause their destruction consistent with applicable Federal and State laws. Entering into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the County as a resource would serve to eliminate Village costs associated with destroying collected pharmaceuticals
- Discussion and consideration concerning Maywood Police Department Proposal No. 17 quote received from “Tactical Video,” a Naperville, Illinois based company for a Surveillance System to be installed at the new Metra Train Station. The project cost is estimated at $7,286 with a 50% payment up front requirement and balance due within 15 days. VFP
