On Sept. 20, Sept. 21 and Sept. 22, the Proviso Township Ministerial Alliance Network (PT MAN) and World Deliverance Christian Center will host the Unity in the Community Tent Revival that will feature preaching, counselors, employment opportunities, music, free food and more.

The event will take place on the corner of 17th Ave. and Maywood Drive (Prairie Path)  in Maywood. Free food: 6 p.m. each night | Lecture: 6:30 each night | Worship: 7 p.m. each night.

“PT MAN has a rich history of being very active in social matters, which has proven to benefit many residents and small businesses of Proviso Township,” according to a statement released by PT MAN’s director of events, Bishop Thomas A. Clark IV.

Clark said that the organization is calling on local businesses and organizations to help PT MAN reach its $2,500 budget for the event.

“This will help us not only rent the tent, stage, chairs, tables, lights and other items necessary to have a successful revival, but also offer free food to all who arrive before we begin each evening,” he said.

“In exchange for your generous gift, we will be certain to provide a table upon which your company representative can place applications for employment, company literature and have a place from which they can answer any questions that our attendees may have,” Clark explained. “We will also gladly inform all of the attendees that your company donated to the Unity in the Community Tent Revival.”

Clark stated that each company or organization that donates at least $500 will be named a sponsor of the revival. The donation is tax-deductible.
