Bryan Colangelo, the president of basketball operations for the Philadelphia 76ers, announced today that the team has signed Maywood native, Proviso East graduate and Kansas State star Jacob Pullen to an undisclosed deal.
According to a Sept. 22 article in the Philadelphia Inquirer:
“The 27-year-old spent last season with Russian basketball team BC Khimki. The Moscow-based team plays in the VTB United League and the EuroLeague. The 6-foot-1 and 200 pounder averaged 10.3 points in 17 EuroLeague matchups. He averaged 8.9 points in 23 VTB United games.
“Pullen had overseas stints with Angelico Biella (Italy), Hapoel Jerusalem (Israel), Virtus Bologna (Italy), FC Barcelona (Spain), Baloncesto Sevilla (Spain), New Basket Brindisi (Italy) and KK Cedevita (Croatia) before playing for Khimki.”
