Angelo Navarro, a 23-year-old man from Melrose Park, was recently charged in connection to the shooting of an elderly man in Elmhurst, according to an Elmhurst Patch report.
Navarro was charged with “attempted murder, aggravated battery with a firearm, and one count of misdemeanor endangering the life of a child,” Patch reports. His bond was set at $1.5 million.
The victim, a 65-year-old man, “was shot in the left cheek with the bullet exiting through his right cheek. He was transported to the hospital where he underwent surgery for his injuries,” according to the report.
