Learn about the senior tax freeze exemption
On Saturday, March 10, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Beverly Center, 3031 S. 25th Ave. in Broadview, Cook County Commissioner Richard Boykin and Broadview Mayor Katrina Thompson will host a senior tax freeze event. For more info, call (312) 603-4566.
Get a free blood pressure screening
On Saturday, March 10, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Maywood Public Library, 121 S. 5th Ave. in Maywood, staff from Loyola University Medical Center will be offering free blood pressure screenings.
Get free tax prep
On Saturday, March 10, 10 a.m., at Village Hall Chambers, 2350 S. 25th Ave. in Broadview, Broadview Mayor Katrina Thompson and the Monroe Foundation will host the Center for Economic Progress’s Mobile Tax Clinic.

Paint with love
On Saturday, March 10, 6:30 p.m., at 8020 Madison St. in River Forest, Empowerment Church is calling all married and engaged couples to come out for a date night, “Painting With Love.” Tickets are $25 per person (and include canvas and painting materials). Buy your tickets online by clicking here.
Have breakfast and help young people in need
On March 10, 8:30 a.m., at Freedom Baptist Church, 4541 Harrison St. in Hillside, the Proviso Township Ministerial Alliance Network (PTMAN) will host its monthly breakfast meeting.
