The interment will take place after the funeral at Oakridge Cemetery, 4301 Roosevelt Rd. in Hillside. The repast will take place immediately following the burial (sometime between 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.) until 6 p.m., at Alpine Banquet, 11141 W. Roosevelt Rd. in Westchester.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations, which will be forwarded to dementia and alzheimer’s caregiving teams in Atlanta and Chicago in Pittman’s name. Pittman’s aunt suffers Alzheimer’s and her father suffers from a form of dementia, according to relatives.
