No Injuries Reported In April 4 Maywood Apartment Fire

No one was injured during a fire that broke out in the garden unit of a 2.5-story multi-unit apartment building in Maywood on April 4, according to Maywood Fire Chief Craig Bronaugh.

The fire started in the basement garden unit of a building on the 600 block of S. 6th Ave. in Maywood at around 8:49 a.m., according to emergency dispatch records.

Bronaugh said that authorities don’t yet know what caused the fire, which he said is still under investigation. VFP
