The perks of winning keep rolling in for the Triton College men’s basketball program, which won its first NJCAA Division II National Championship title in March.
On April 24, the team converged onto Guaranteed Rate Field, home of the Chicago White Sox, and relished in the special treatment before Tuesday’s game against the Seattle Mariners.
The Mariners won the game 1-0, but that likely didn’t diminish the day’s high point, when the team’s coach, Steve Christiansen, announced “play ball!” Check out the elation immediately after Christiansen’s big moment.
