Terry Edwards, the father of Christopher J. Parker — the president of the Bellwood Chamber of Commerce and a vice president of commercial lending with Wintrust Bank Chicago — died suddenly on June 10. He was 64. Parker announced his father’s death in a Facebook post on June 11 before later confirming by phone.
“On yesterday morning my Dad was up talking and looking forward to his birthday on Friday,” Parker wrote. “He went to sleep and fell into eternity. The kindest man on earth. Please keep my family in Prayer on the sudden loss.”
