Community members from Maywood and beyond will once again be able to take an extended glimpse inside some of the village’s most architecturally significant homes during the Maywood Historic Homes Housewalk & Trolley Tour, to take place Sunday, July 15, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The event highlights Maywood’s rich housing stock, which includes hearty brick bungalows, Gothic Revival gems and stately Queen Annes, and it’s the first to take place in the village in a few years. Each year, it’s organized by community entities like Neighbors of Maywood Community Organization (NOMCO) and the village’s Historic Preservation Commission.

Correction: A previous version of this post contained the incorrect date of the Housewalk. It is July 15, not June 15. This post has since been updated to reflect that correction. VFP regrets the error.
