  1. Clinton does not use any drugs. He for sure didn’t pass from herion. There’s got to be another reason for his passing. The Maywood police should not speculate on the cause of death or they should wait for the coroner’s reporter first. Saying he over dosed is wrong and hurtful to those that know Clinton and know he didn’t use any type of drugs.

  2. The police can speculate all they want to. It’s their job to call it as they see it. I imagine they’ve seen enough ODs to speculate that this was another. Heroin addicts have a talent for hiding their drug use from friends and family, and the friends and family enable them to continue using by denying that they know anything about it. It’s really a shame, though, to see so many people die of ODs, but it was their choice to use in the first place. Sad.

    1. Speculation and facts are two different things. If you are not an expert in this field than you should not make speculations and possibly put a person in a negative aspect. In this case in particular I know that Clinton doesn’t do any drugs. I’m around him 6 days a week for 10 hrs a day and I can say with absolute confidence that he did not OD. Regardless of all that the police should have facts not speculation. That’s as bad as saying someone is guilty of something before all the evidence has been presented then only to find out that it wasn’t true. Yet this person has been presented In a negative aspect. How will they fix this type of statement once they learn that it wasn’t an overdose?

    2. Hello, My name is Celia Easley and I am Clinton’s oldest child. I guess the police’s speculation was wrong. Do you know the feeling of someone lying on your father, dragging his name threw the dirt, especially when its not true. You all sit behind the crooked ass Maywood police and support their speculations not knowing my father at all. I speak for me and my siblings when I say my father is not a drug user. That speculation was because of the area he in and the people he be around. My father never casted judgement on anyone, he was around everybody, the life of the party. So before you type and say the police know this and that, state facts. The police don’t know shit. So let the Press and the Maywood police Celia said,”That’s called deformation of character!”

  3. Can someone please tell me if Clinton passed from an overdose where are the drugs and/ paraphernalia that was used. This is not true and the Maywood Police department shouldn’t guess, speculate, nor assume anything until all the facts are in and all toxicology results have been presented. Statements that speculate, tarnish and disrespect individuals, hurts their image and tarnishes their reputation. This shouldn’t never happen especially to people who are righteous

  4. I know this is a matter of public records. While you are writing articles and getting information from Maywood police department, you should REALLY think about how this affects his FAMILY. I’m getting calls and screen shot from this article from his CHILDREN! EVERY day it is something someone said on this that had upset my family. No one thought about his children, siblings, mother and father, etc when this article was posted. It doesn’t matter how he died to me. All I know is that he went to sleep Saturday and didn’t wake up Sunday. So for now, let US-his family mourn the loss of our loved one in peace. I would give you the same respect and condolences. Do that for ALL of us.

  5. Just asking!!! Why publish that Clinton Hall died of a heroin overdose if the autopsy is not yet clear. It’s ashame and unfair and an injustice to him and his family to put such alternative facts out.

  6. I think it is crazy for the police to assume he dies from an overdose because of his race or where he lived or who his friends were he was a hard working man who was always at work and was always so kind to everyone my heart goes out to his children and the rest of his family . so sorry for your loss

  7. My condolences to the love ones of the deceased. No matter the cause we feel for you. Please don’t take these statements to heart, the truth will come out and if the statement is fauls, the person who made the statement will have to retract and walk away with his tail between his legs. If it’s true, be strong and remember that no one really knows another. It was his life, and as a grown person he did what he wished. My advice to you is that you should reach out to the village free press after you have the results and publish your side of this man’s story. This way both stories will be filed. Much love to all.
