A regular meeting of the Maywood Board of Trustees is scheduled to take place tonight, Tuesday, July 17, 7 p.m., at Council Chambers, 125 S. 5th Ave. in Maywood. Among items to be discussed or acted on (for the full agenda packet, click here):
- Approval of Village of Maywood Warrant List No. 200454 through July 12, 2018 in the amount of $2,827,496.94
- Discussion and consideration regarding working with Traen, Inc. concerning foreclosure projects where foreclosures well exceed 25% of the transactions. They are proposing a complete assessment review of all neighborhoods in south and southwest suburban townships under the new assessment guidelines.
- Presentation by Police Chief Val Talley pursuant to MPD Proposal #11 to honor Ms. Angela Davis, Maywood resident for her heroic actions risking her life to aid a neighbor during a Pit Bull Terrier attack. Chief Talley would like to present her with a Certificate of Appreciation for her community service in the Village of Maywood.
- ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE XV (LAND USAGE) OF THE MAYWOOD VILLAGE CODE TO ADD A NEW CHAPTER 16(SMALL WIRELESS FACILITIES) RELATIVE TO THE PERMITTING, REGULATION AND DEPLOYMENT OF SMALL WIRELESS FACILITIES, with a cover memo dated July 11, 2018 from Klein, Thorpe and Jenkins, Ltd.
