One man is wanted by the FBI after robbing a bank in Proviso Township on Tuesday.

According to a statement the FBI released on Aug. 8, the currently unidentified suspect walked into the US Bank at 1844 South Mannheim Road in Westchester at around 3 p.m. on Aug. 7. He was armed with a knife, the FBI said.

The agency described the incident as a “non-takeover robbery,” which means that the suspect conducted the crime without drawing the attention of customers.

The suspect — described as 45-year-old black male who is 5’8, 165 pounds and medium complected — “wore a black face mask, a dark-colored long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and black gloves” during the robbery.
