Local election season is officially here. According to the Cook County Clerk’s Office, Sept. 18 was the first day to circulate nominating papers for candidates seeking to be on the ballot during the April 2, 2019 consolidated election.

The list was compiled by referencing the Cook County Clerk’s Directory of Elected Officials and cross-referencing information from the websites of various governing bodies with Illinois election data.
