Maywood Man Who Threatened School Sentenced To Probation

A Maywood man who was arrested in May for threatening an elementary school in the village was recently sentenced, according to a statement released by Maywood Police.

Willie Little was sentenced to 24 months’ probation, anger management and parenting classes last week. He also can’t have any contact with the principal of Lincoln Elementary School, 811 Chicago Ave. in Maywood.

On May 14, Little was arrested after he “walked into the principal’s office and confronted the principal,” Maywood Police noted in a statement released at the time.

Little allegedly “began threatening bodily harm and yelling profanities, saying he was coming back the next day to hurt everyone at the school, as well as the [principal],” police reported.

Lincoln was arrested that day and charged with one count of misdemeanor criminal trespass to real property, one count of misdemeanor aggravated assault and one count of felony disorder. VFP
