Early Voting Happening Now Through Nov. 5, Locations Inside

Early voting for the Nov. 6 Gubernatorial Election got underway on Oct. 22 and will go through Nov. 5.

According to the Cook County Clerk’s office, voters do not need to provide government-issued photo ID, but it could be “helpful if there is a question about the voter’s registration, address or signature.  Providing an ID can also speed up the process because we have ID card readers at every check-in station.”

In addition, the clerk’s office notes, citizens can register to vote at all early vote sites. It should be noted, however, that those registering for the first time or filing an address change “must present two forms of ID, one of which shows the voter’s current address.”

So far, according to the clerk’s office, around 2,600 people in the Bellwood, Broadview, Maywood and Melrose Park area have voted early at the following sites:

Bellwood Village Hall, 3200 Washington Boulevard 

  • Oct. 22 – Oct. 26 | 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
  • Oct. 27 | 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
  • Oct. 28 | 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Oct. 29 – Nov. 2 | 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
  • Nov. 3 | 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
  • Nov. 4 | 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Nov. 5 | 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Maywood Courthouse (Whitcomb Building), Room 104, 1311 Maybrook Square, Maywood

  • Oct. 22 – Oct. 26 | 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
  • Oct. 27 | 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
  • Oct. 28 | 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Oct. 29 – Nov. 2 | 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
  • Nov. 3 | 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
  • Nov. 4 | 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Nov. 5 | 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Melrose Park Village Hall, 1000 N. 25th Ave., Melrose Park 

  • Oct. 22 – Oct. 26 | 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
  • Oct. 27 | 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
  • Oct. 28 | 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Oct. 29 – Nov. 2 | 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
