Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood was recently named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s list of “100 Great Hospitals in America” — the sixth year in a row that the Maywood hospital has made the list.
Loyola was among at least in Illinois to make the list, including Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, NorthShore University HealthSystem Evanston, Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago and the University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago.
According to Becker’s, the hospitals on the list are nationally recognized for “excellence in clinical care, patient outcomes and staff and physician satisfaction.”
In addition to the Becker’s list, Loyola was also on U.S. News & World Report’s 2018-19 Best Hospitals list, ranked among the top three hospitals in Illinois; and Newsweek magazine ranked Loyola 49th out of 250 U.S. hospitals on its 2019 list of the World’s Best Hospitals.
