On Aug. 27, a few hundred mid-managers and full-time classified employees packed the small second-floor conference room on the campus of Triton College, where a Board of Trustees meeting was in session, to demand a 4 percent pay raise.

Triton College Employees Threatening To Strike

Clerical, technical and professional employees along with mid-managers in various departments at Triton College, 2000 Fifth Ave. in River Grove, are threatening to strike if administrators don’t grant them a 4-percent pay raise.

Komarek School District 94 Seeking Broadview Residents For Facility Improvement Committee

Komarek School District 94 is seeking Broadview residents who live in the Harvester or Beverly areas to join the district’s facility improvement steering committee. In a statement, Komarek District 94 Supt. Brian J. Ganan explained the duties of committee members.
