Well, it’s official. Anthony Clark, the outspoken Oak Park and River Forest High School teacher and founder of the nonprofit social justice organization Suburban Unity Alliance, is running for Congress again.

Davis Glides To Primary Victory In 7th District

Congressman Danny K. Davis (7th) easily prevailed over challenger Anthony Clark in the March 20 Democratic primary election. With roughly 90 percent of precincts reporting as of 10:20 p.m., Davis was up on Clark by a 74 percent to 26 percent margin.

7th District Candidates Face-off For First Time

Congressman Danny K. Davis (7th) and Anthony Clark, his challenger in the Democratic Primary, faced each other during a formal campaign event for the first time on Feb. 3.

The short exchange was a study in contrasts, as Davis presented himself as the experienced statesman while Clark presented himself as the face of change.
