The Broadview Fire Department will be taking donations for Hurricane Harvey victims from now until Friday, and perhaps later, according to village officials.

On Saturday, July 12, 2014, 9 AM to 3 PM, the Broadview Fire Department will host a blood drive inside its Training Room at 2400 S. 25th Avenue, Broadview, IL 60155. To schedule your appointment, please contact: LifeSource at 1-877-543-3768, or register online by clicking here. (Use sponsor code 794C). Appointments recommended. Prepare for your donation. Eat well. Stay hydrated. Bring ID. Proper ID is required to donate blood. A LifeSource or military ID, driver’s license, or employee badge with picture and full name are all approved forms of ID. Birth certificate along with a picture ID that includes the donor’s full name will also be accepted. VFP
