Maywood Chief Mourns Slain Chicago Cop, 2 New Village Officers Sworn-in

Maywood Police Chief Valdimir Talley expressed sympathy for slain Chicago Police Officer Samuel Jimenez, who was fatally shot on Nov. 19, when a gunman opened fire inside of Mercy Hospital in Chicago, killing Jimenez and two hospital staff members — including the gunman’s former fiancé, a doctor at Mercy. The gunman was also killed.

Short On Police, Maywood Chief Asks Residents To Help Recruit
