The Bellwood Public Library Board of Trustees has started the search for a new executive director with the selection of John Keister & Associates — a head hunting firm based in Vernon Hills that specializes in finding library executives.

Bellwood Library Director To Resign

The executive director of the Bellwood Public Library has announced that she plans on resigning. During a phone interview on March 28, Jacqueline Spratt said that she verbally informed Dorothy Clark-Smith, the library board president, of her intentions today.

Bellwood Library Gets New Board Majority

After several months of stasis, the Bellwood Public Library Board of Trustees has a newly configured majority. During a Sept. 12 regular meeting, the board appointed two new members and voted in officers — roughly five months after the April 4 elections.
