The nonprofit Housing Forward, which provides assistance to individuals experiencing homelessness across the western suburbs, recently reopened its headquarters, located at 1851 S. 9th Ave. in Maywood, roughly a year after a fire and flooding forced the organization to temporarily close the facility.

Housing Forward To Re-Open Maywood Headquarters After 2017 Fire

The nonprofit Housing Forward, which helps individuals and families experiencing housing-related crises transition to stable living conditions, is reopening its Maywood headquarters at 1851 S. 9th Ave. in Maywood after a fire forced the organization to temporarily relocate to Oak Park last year.
