Central Michigan University police have confirmed that the victims of a fatal shooting that happened Friday morning on the college’s campus are James Eric Davis Sr. and Diva Jeneen Davis of Plainfield, Ill., according to an article in the Detroit Free Press.

One person has been wounded after a shooting that happened Thursday afternoon in Maywood, according to Maywood police.
The April 20 incident happened at around 3 p.m. on Thursday on the 600 block of South 13th Avenue. Maywood Police Chief Valdimir Talley said the victim, identified as 18-year-old Christian D. Gilkey, is in stable condition.
Talley said that officers have one person in custody in connection to the shooting, but he could not identify the suspect at this time.
According to people who were in the vicinity, at least 10 rounds were fired. The condition of the victim is currently not known.
On Saturday, April 15, police responded to calls of a stabbing on the 100 block of South 10th Avenue, Talley said. The incident happened during the evening. The specific time of the incident hasn’t been confirmed.
Talley said that the victim, Floyd Peppers, was stabbed multiple times but survived. The offender, Sebastian Hotchkiss, was taken into custody.
