Red light cameras will likely be in Broadview soon. During a Jan. 22 meeting, the village’s Board of Trustees voted 4-1 in favor of a contract with Chicago-based SafeSpeed, LLC to install the cameras at key intersections throughout the village.

Broadview Moves Closer To Building Senior Housing

During a Feb. 4 regular meeting, the village of Broadview Board of Trustees approved a special use permit and a preliminary land lease deal necessary to allow Ross Financial Services to build a 70-unit, three-story affordable housing development for seniors and veterans at 2111 S. 17th Ave. in Broadview.

Broadview Approves New Police Sergeant’s Contract

During a regular meeting on Nov. 5, the village of Broadview’s Board of Trustees voted unanimously in favor of authorizing and approving a collective bargaining agreement with the Illinois Council of Police on behalf of the village’s sworn police sergeants.
